I sign this petition with a heavy heart , my heart is bleeding because it has been stabbed by males who believe they can have their way with anyone and everyone who has a vagina. For how long is the justice system going fail us as women and children of this country?? When will it stop? Is it still about wearing mini skirts? Is it still about walking alone at night? Or is it all because she's a female and has a vagina? This needs attention. I am signing because I am a woman who fears walking in the streets of South Africa. I am a woman who can't trust any male in this country other than my father and brothers. I am signing because if I do not sign Cwecwe will not receive the justice in which she rightfully deserves. Justice is not a privilege it is a right.... Not only am I signing this because I'm a woman but because should this perpetrator roam free our streets we will still live in wonder. Who's next. We'll still be afraid of talking our kids to school. If this can happen to a 7 year old then who am I? What am I? Living in fear in South Africa has become a norm, it's as if it's necessary. Are we not supposed to go to school? Are we to stay at home like prisoners in our own country? When our mothers, fathers,uncles and aunts were fighting for education THIS IS NOT WHAT THEY MEANT. THEY DID NOT MEAN THAT WE SHOULD LIVE AND STUDY IN FEAR AT SCHOOLS. Does she not deserve the education that she was supposed to receive at school? We go to school to get educated not RAPED.
