Appliances dont last. People got babies in area. We got kids to feed and cant afford to loose food because of the lack of power. Crime rising in area because of outages. Water outages - robots that dont work and many other issue rise because of loadshedding and the outages after they put us back on. Security becomes a big issue because alarm batteries dont last. Everytime our block 11 is scheduled for load shedding we never come back on! Sometimes staying off for up to 3 days or longer! Then when the next load shedding hits its a repeat and then can "never" find the faults! They close tickets without allocating them! They refuse to help only saying "a team has been dispatched" how is a team dispatched for three days? I have all the proof all the pleas for help! We are in Hobwydew ridge/wilgeheuwel and these days if no power is ridiculous, I work or try to work from home, but with this issue if tripping for days after load shedding is sad! We have been experiencing power outages after every loadshedding and no repairs or action is being taken to fix the clear problem(s) at hand. Money is being paid on time every month for services we are not receiving. I'm signing because this ward/block 11 does not restore after loadshedding every time resulting in 24 hours up to 7 days with no electricity. We are unable to do anything. Loadshedding you can work around but not restoring afterwards you simply can not do anything. Our lives are lived in darkness. One cant cook, clean or even turn on a light.
