I'm signing because we drive through carnival mall's intersection every single day and those idiots already don't follow the rules, it's each pig for himself. The fact that every traffic light is being changed to stop signs just shows that us tax payers are paying for nothing! It's the government's way to steal even more money, the least they can do is to just bloody fix the damn roads and the traffic lights otherwise us taxpayers might as well refuse to pay tax and rather use that money to fix it ourselves like we are already forced to do!

I object having traffic lights 🚥 being replaced with four- way stops!!!

This personally FRUSTRATES me as we are dealing with this everywhere in Gauteng. If it's not under loadshedding circumstances, it's due to the lack of service delivery. Almost every traffic lights is out in Jozi CBD and neighboring suburbs. So annoying and dangerous as it may lead to high accidents.

Taxi drivers don't stop at broken traffic lights, not just them of course, but THEY are less likely to stop and recognize their wrong and allow you your right of way 😒🙄.

It is ridiculous to have 4 way stops in place of robots along Snake Road. Many drivers do not stop at 4 way stops or even understand the 4 way stop rules. This route is busy and leads to and from a busy highway as well as having an informal settlement along the roadside (posing a risk to the informal settlement community). These 4 ways stops are going to cause major accidents and fatalities and will also not be a deterrent for speeding. The robots have to be replaced to ensure the smooth flow of traffic, ensure the safety of motorists and the informal community dwellers, to ensure that rules of the road are obeyed and make travel commuting on this road more convenient.

This is a major intersection and traffic flow in the mornings and afternoons is an absolute nightmare without the traffic lights. Motorists become confused having to assess the situation of who stopped first, some motorist see this as an opportunity to go which leads to chaos in the middle of the intersection which leads to tempers flaring up. With the amount of vehicles using this intersection I am amazed that anyone who has actually used the road would even consider removing the traffic lights.

Changing the robots to stop streets is absolutely insane! The Heidelberg road Isa busy road, every morning and evening. The queues are standing for hours! This will cause a big mess and accidents madness! They skip the robots even when the cops are there and I assume there will be traffic cops every morning then! Oh no, why must they? They leave when they feel it's time and leave the traffic standing just like that. Someone is going to lose their live's there just because you can't FIX a robot! A stop sign by one of the biggest and busiest robots in Brakpan! What a pile up that is going to cause! Really??? It's is completely absurd to even think it will work!! Fix the robots!!

It's very unsafe. On Snake road they have no lines.. No lights and no robots or Stop signs. At night you cannot see at all. How this is allowed to happen is absolutely disgraceful. This is truly a disgrace on the part of the EKURHULENI municipality. We pay for electricity and every other one of the nonsensical charges that the government can dream up. The removal of traffic lights are a major concern to our safety as road users. Smash and grabbing incidents are on the rise not to mention the the recklessness of the taxis and other vehicles who feel entitled not to obey the rules of the road. Road rage is becoming increasingly prominent due to the stress of driving in heavy traffic all of which could be avoided. This is also encouraging criminals to become more brazen with hi jacking and smash and grabs. This is truly unacceptable and will force us law abiding citizens to deal with these matters in our private capacity as the safety of our loved ones come over and above the idiotic ideas of those responsible for converting the traffic lights into four way stops.
