TOREM is a safe and environmentally responsible place to learn wheeling and enjoy off road sports and not go places they shouldn’t. If you shut it down, you’ll regret your decision quite soon I expect.

Greg Roux (Edmonton, 2021-10-21)

It is clearly evident that by keeping this off road park open benifits the surrounding communities. Add to the fact it helps to keep off road vehicles out of our crown land. If anything, tax breaks to encourage expansion for things like, an eating establishment and even other outdoor seasonal activities.
Income to the surrounding communities would be, fuel, food and even possibly accommodations. When on average an individual using this establishment would need a full tank of fuel for the use of the area. And a full tank of fuel while leaving the area. Then there is food. After a day utilizing this establishment, while driving home. An individual or group could be inclined to stop for dinner. Additionally, an individual, group or family spending an extensive amount of time possibly would need lodging. That would bring income to local hotels, motels, dining, ect.
This establishment that Mr. Poirier operates is well known accros Canada within the off highway vehicles communities.

Reginald Wylie (Sherwood Park, 2021-10-21)

I’m signing this petition because I feel total off road experience is a safe and private place to explore without having to worry about trespassing etc.. They provide a fun safe place for people to go out and get experience with riding dirt bikes and atv’s before hitting some real busy trails. It also teaches many to use proper recovery techniques.

Jaydon Stock (Edmonton, 2021-10-21)

#448

This is a safe and fun place for off road enthusiasts to go and have fun in their off road vehicle instead of going out onto crown land and doing it their. These off road areas like what TORE is are necessary for the safe enjoyment of this sport.

#503

I think this is a good thing and people need this place

Oliver Beneke (Edson, 2021-10-21)

#506

I believe the park should be allowed to operate as it gives families some quality fun time. No where near the city can people go off road without breaking the law. This helps lower the numbers because it’s on private property. It’s safe out forests, waters, wildlife etc. if it closes forever, there’s going to be “ those people “ who go out and destroy the land disrespectfully. At least here you have designated trails that are cut, maintained and there’s always someone around to help you out of a sticky situation. It’s a safe zone. As well, lots of fundraisers have been held there.

Reshelle Schlitter (Edmonton, 2021-10-21)

#509

This place should reopen as other options are limited

Heather Gale (Spruce Grove, 2021-10-22)

#534

This place has no right to be shut down absolute bullshit. I would say more but none of it is very nice so I will leave it at that

Rahn Braiden (Grande Prairie, 2021-10-22)

#537

I support TORE. Its private land and it makes the family money , the wheeling community happy and safe and to a designated spot where liabilities are properly signed and attained to. There should be no reason the owners of the property cannot do as the wish within regulations as they do. I have made many friends and memories with people who share a like hobby of off road exploitation in a place made to do so with a support of one another and our passions. Sharing or swapping parts helping with mechanics, teaching youngsters or newcomers along the way. Why would anybody stifle such a wholesome thing that means no harm to anyone

Shealynn Delisle (St.albert, 2021-10-22)

#538

This is a valuable resource for people to legally operate without trespassing and doing unmitigated damage to the environment.

#548

WE NEED TORE!!!

Steven White (Edmonton, 2021-10-23)

#551

Its a legal place for people to create new friendships and learn priceless skills not just driving but with recovery.
It saddens me that people have an issue with others simply enjoying life and being valuable members of society. The same people that are trying to shut this down might be the one's getting pulled out of a snowy ditch. What comes around goes around.

Layne Cole (Edmonton, 2021-10-23)

#553

This is a great place and should remain open

Amyotte Justin (Spruce Grove, 2021-10-23)

Amanda Coleman (Nanaimo, 2021-10-25)

#571

TORE is a great place for beginners or the experienced 4x4 driver. I read that people's stresses fade away turning into the driveway and can confirm this statement. I've had nothing but great times with great people there.

Scott Giesbrecht (Lacombe, 2021-10-25)

#572

I’m signing this because we all need a place to go play with the crap going on in the world today

Monteith Tim (Wetaskiwin, 2021-10-25)

#576

As a disabled person, I'm unable to do a lot in the way of hobbies nowadays. Offroading is one of the very few things that helps keeps me sane, and in contact with other humans. If this place was to close down, it would be a tragedy to many people! Offroading has saved me from depression, and being a complete hermit!! I stand shoulder to shoulder with Travis, even if it can only be for a few minutes at a time! Haha!

Kevin Smith (Medicine Hat, 2021-10-25)

#586
