Suppression of live music contributes nothing to the battle against covid. It damages musicians financially. It has a powerful, negative impact on the mental health of many people. Suppressing live music is NOT reasonable.John Wilson (Corralejo, 2021-09-03)

The COVID statistics do not warrant a ban on live music when other rules such as distancing and mask wearing are in place. Live music is essential to encourage tourism and provide opportunities for locals to earn a living. The rule should not differ from other areas of the island.Jean McDonald (Plymouth, 2021-09-03)

I’m on holiday here at moment, been coming for 15 years we love it but this time just not the same at nite without entertainment as the lads said there’s no need for this, it’s just making bars etc suffer and the entertainment folk so please see sense before they all shut down and it’s gone for goodMichael Skinner (Lincoln, 2021-09-03)

I’m here in Corralejo at the moment. There are hundreds of people out and about in the bars and restaurants and are behaving responsibly. This is not going to change if someone picks up an instrument. Time to LIVE with CovidClare Connors (Corralejo Fuerteventura, 2021-09-03)

It makes no sense to ban live music when so many other forms of entertainment eg watching football on tv are allowed. This ban will result in tourists travelling to other resorts or other islands further punishing bar owners and musicians in La Oliva. Please reconsider.Liz Bentley (Shipley, 2021-09-04)

I've been to Corralejo on numerous occasions and the music square is such a relaxed place to eat and be entertained by fantastic live acts. The lack of music deters from the atmosphere and it is not necessary to curtail it as the majority of patrons remain in their restaurant seats appreciating the show. The good acts will disperse to other parts of Fuerteventura where they can earn a living and, unfortunately for CORRALEJO, so will the tourists.Michael Rahill (Dublin, 2021-09-04)

They are certain rules. Apply to different premises. Where some can have entertainment. Some showing 6 different TV screens. All drawing crowds. Yet live entertainment in some areas is still prohibited. Just pure lunacy. C.mon get the act together. Get the party started. Bring it alive again. Sport has been allowed all summer. Money making spin , fools no 1. Just like pcr tests. Raking it in.😡June Nelson (Coralejo, 2021-09-07)

Im signing because I believe it's a total disgrace to prevent musicians from making a living when everyone else is going about their lives normally!Listen to sense.
