I ve been living in Australia for the past year and a halfl, calling it home, paying taxes, going on holidays here, investing my time and effort here. I worked in different kind of jobs, different cities, doing things that a lot of Australians wouldn't do. Donated for the fires, and was thinking of studying a master degree in Sydney the following year. Now, that my country's boarders have closed without notice, and I lost my job, the government looks the other side, and urges us "to go home". I can't go anywhere, firstly because Australia is what I call home, and secondly, the boarders of my home country have been closed. Please don't leaves us stranded, help us out, like we have been helping you out all these years. Thank you!Maria Duarte (Thredbo, 2020-03-31)

I am an international student and I do feel that we have been left to fend for ourselves in this time of crisis. We study here and work too paying taxes weekly. But right now we are unemployed and left alone with no financial umbrella to protect us from this economic crisis. This is morally and legally unfair. I wonder why we are not being helped. We have no financial assistance grant or even early access to our super. There is just nothing for us. This should not be the conduct of a self-proclaimed fair government that keeps advocating equality. I, personally, am very disappointed and depressed in this situation because I know that this is a crisis we as international students cannot win on our own without government's help like every other individuals in the country.Kailash Darji (Wamberal, 2020-03-31)
