No parent should ever have to bury their child. This man should never get out!!!!!!! These parents should not have to go through it all over again!(Medina, 2018-01-23)

I will never forget being 15 in October 1988 and a student at Christie's school. The terror and the sadness that this man set upon our community took away the innocence of so many. May he never be free for the life he took(Cincinnati, 2018-01-23)

I’m signinh because 30 years ago, my best friends mother was a victim of the same magnitude. Because a monster decided it was his right to take this woman’s life, my bestfriend never knew what it was like to have her mother there to experience all of the mother and daughter moments in a woman’s life. Lock him away and throw away the key for life. Monsters don’t deserve 2nd chances.(North Olmsted, 2018-01-23)

This same thing happened to my cousin, so I know what this family has been going through. I fight every few years for my cousin's killer to stay behind bars. Christie's killer would more than likely kill again and I don't want this animal out in the general population and her family doesn't need him out either!!!(Ashtabula, ohio, 2018-01-23)

This is one of the most Trumatic experiences I had lived through as a young teen age girl living in rural town of Willoughby. Willoughby was a quite and safe little town when Christie went missing and then found, This criminal not only Scarred the Montrella Family but an entire community. Christie had her whole life ahead of her, she was kind and deserved to live a fulll life. Keep the monster behind bars so he can never harm another family or community again.(Mayfield, 2018-01-23)

I strongly believe that if a person has the ability to commit such atrocities once, he/she will always be at risk of completing a brutal attack and murder again and again. This isbharwired. No amount of time behind bars will cure him/her. If you allow this monster to be released you are endangering countless others. His next victim could be your daughter/sister/mother Or any lived one for that matter. Are you willing to live with the blood of his next victim on your hands?(Colorado Springs Colorado, 2018-01-23)

He should have gotten the death sentence, so he shouldn't be able to live free ever again.(Willoughby, 2018-01-23)

I can relate to what this family is going through. My father was murdered at age 45 in 1980. The man that killed him was not found for over a decade. We went through his trial in 1993 and he was convicted of Aggravated Murder. Sentenced 20 years to life, with parole eligibility. After over ten years in prison, the murderer was granted a new trial due to a bit of evidence he found that was not in the first trial’s discovery. (Did you know, every prison has a law library?) In 2004, we went through another trial, in which my father’s remains had to be exhumed. The second trial ended in another guilty verdict. The murderer went back to prison. BUT . . Twice since, we’ve had to get signatures, letters, etc and meet with the parole board to keep a murderer in prison. (This is Hell for victim’s families!) Not one breath of freedom should this man breathe! IT WILL NOT END FOR OUR FAMILY UNTIL MY FATHER’S MURDERER DIES, hopefully in prison. My thoughts and prayers are with the Montrella family. Stay Strong!(Chagrin Falls, Ohio, 2018-01-23)

This man should not be given a second chance because of "good behavior" in prison. Makes no sense! He deserves to spend the rest of his life locked up for torturing that poor child who had her entire life ahead of her. My prayers are with the Montrella family(Wickliffe, 2018-01-23)

#4167
This “man” stole, snuffed out, destroyed, obliterated not only the victim, but changed the lives of so many of us who knew Christie. He should NOT have the option that he so brutally denied her and the ones who loved her and miss her every day. As long as there are affected loved ones who have to suffer from his inhumane actions, he should not be given an option to live outside the walls of prison. Please keep this monster in prison, no matter what his so-called good behavior may be. DENY his parole request!!!(Austin, TX, 2018-01-23)
