We place alot of trust in saps to serve and protect the nation at large..we Donot accept them behaving like the criminals that they supposed to arrest..it's time they are held accountable for any and everything wrong they do..and serve time behind bars for their wrong doing..

Police brutality is a sensitive topic for the muslim community as we witness the ongoing genocide in Gaza by people in uniform. The DA has failed to recognised the atrocities committed by Israel. This genocide supporting oarty has now formed a coalition with the ANC. If this brutality doesnt end immediately I'm afraid we might be paving the way for the abuse of power of police authority similar to apartheid ud days and what is happening in Gaza continuously.

I firmly stand against the horrible actions of the police officers involved.

If the police are allowed to get away with this type of abuse, it means that nobody is safe from them. Today, it is this unfortunate family, tomorrow, it can be any other individual or group. Such criminal conduct by police is unacceptable. Of special concern is that the police targeted a Muslim family, which seems to indicate that their actions were based on prejudice rather than factual evidence of any wrongdoing by the family. I hope that an investigation into police conduct in this case proceeds without delay and that the perpetrators be brought to book as soon as possible.

We congratulate the new Police Minister for making a difference recently
However, the are still rogue elements in the police service who need to be arrested fir heinous crimes and the robbing families of their loved ones.

The police have become a law onto themselves.

Devan Pillay (Durban, 2024-10-04)

I have myself witnessed police brutality where a person had actually died, and I am against this. As an arm of the rule of law I find it disgusting that the police who are meant to be protecting the citizens of the country is the aggressors themselves.

Yusuf Bassa (Durban, 2024-10-04)

We are a democracy and should behave as one and hold the various department or institutions accountable for violence against the public especially women and children .The police are supposed to protect citizens not attack and harm as they have done in this instance .They must be brought to justice

Fazila Sheriffuddin (Durban, 2024-10-04)
