Buford is becoming a giant warehouse there is less and less city vibes. The huge amount of trucks in the area will make it extremely dangerous. I know teens and young adults that were killed in car accident with a truck. So stop building dangerous areas.Lili Hervieu (Buford, 2024-06-01)

Fed up with all the warehouses and residential communities being built everywhere around us! They are so unsightly! Plus, it's destroying the natural habitat for many animals. ENOUGH is ENOUGH!!!April W. (Dacula, 2024-06-01)

I am disappointed that Buford continues to build warehouses in spaces and properties that were already designated as residential and retail as part of the master plan for gravel springsJohn Opp (Buford, 2024-06-01)

As a person who would like to continue living in Buford, we don’t need more warehouses over here if anything we need houses (to purchase especially)! Take that over to Buford Hwy., or somewhere industrial like that.Anacelia Martinez-Smith (Buford, 2024-06-01)

Would like to know the money trail behind all these warehouses that were approved on gravel spring road and potentially camp branch. An investigation should followed to see the people involved and what deals had to be made to get these projects approved. Additionally if these are elected officials, wonder if their homes are also affected by these massive warehouses.Rickie George (Buford, GA 30519, 2024-06-02)

I live in Hidden Falls and drive on Camp Branch and Gravel Springs every day, as does my teenage daughter. Since the creation of the I-85 exit on Gravel Springs and addition of new QT and distribution centers around that exit, traffic on Camp Branch at Gravel Springs has increased dramatically and causes logjams at all hours of the day. It can sometimes take me 20 minutes just to get through those two traffic lights to turn left towards Dacula. Additional warehouses on Camp Branch and Gravel Springs will render those roads unnavigable and will surely have a negative impact on our home values.Mandy Miller (Buford, Ga, 2024-06-02)

I live right next door to proposed development and I feel it is wrong in so many ways. How would the mayor of Buford like to see his property values decrease by 20%? When we bought, it was a rural area with everything for miles zoned residential and that as only been 12 years ago.Tammy Smith (Buford, 2024-06-02)
#251
I live in a neighborhood off of Camp branch road and warehouses shouldn’t be a part of residential roads. Already increased our small road traffic due to the new exit off 85, build these in the 30518 zip code!!! I don’t get to send my kids to Buford schools so they can’t put their warehouses on my road!!!!!!!!!Paula Norman (Buford, 2024-06-02)

We do not need more warehousing and related traffic near the residential communities on Camp Branch Road!Ryan Holder (Buford, 2024-06-02)
#255
This area is residential and ever since the new Gravel Spring exit off 85 we have enough traffic in that area. This would make it worse.Jeaneia Zamora (Buford, 2024-06-02)

I'm signing because we don't need to have another warehouse in the corner of our neighborhood. It will bring a lot of traffic and zero benefits for our community. Why are we not having a park or something that brings people together. Don't forget we are the families that pays the highest taxes of Gwinnett County.Teodor Jano (Buford, 2024-06-02)

I am tired of all the warehouses. Tired of all the Terai h down trees and putting up buildings.Stop allowing City of Buford to annex land so they can creat more traffic and a less enjoyable place to live. They are ruining where we live. They already tore down housing for their stadium, leave people alone
Barbara Parker (Buford, 2024-06-02)

These distribution centers are ruining our environment and are a complete eyesore! If we don’t stand up to these the county will continue to destroy our wildlife and the health of our communityElizabeth Hull (Buford, 2024-06-02)

We do NOT want warehouses built on our currently beautiful Camp Branch Road. This area has upscale homes and sidewalks that we utilize daily. We want it to remain safe for our children. These ugly and massive buildings will destroy our peaceful family surroundings and lower homeowner's property values!Donald & Karen Ariail (Buford, 2024-06-02)
#284
We do not need any more warehouses. We need home (affordable) that people can purchase. Also not 270 townhomes either as there is enough traffic.Monica Phillips Moore (Buford, 2024-06-02)

We DO NOT need or want more warehouses in our area! They are unsightly and cause so much traffic! They ruin our green spaces! Totally against!!!April Westmoreland (Dacula, 2024-06-02)

I have been a resident in this area for 18 years and I do not like the fact that they are trying to turn it into an industrial area this is a residential area and the community is trying to build it up beautiful by putting various beautiful homes on camp branch not to mention the subdivision that I live in I do not want to come off my road and look at these giant warehouse buildings that they are starting to build around it is going to decrease our home values and it will not make me want to stay in this community. Someone needs to stop this right away so I am signing this petition we have enough do not build another monstrous building on gravel Springs near us .Anika Moore (Buford, 2024-06-02)
#292
I live in a subdivision off Camp Branch and I do not want buildings of this sort built there! We need restaurants, fast food, gas stations, housing, and businesses that directly support the community as there is only one gas station currently at that exit.Amanda Panos (Buford, 2024-06-02)
#293
The construction of these giant ugly warehouse buildings (and smaller ones) is completely out of control, especially along SR 324 near I-85. In the past year the traffic has already doubled along this roadway and backs up to and sometimes past SR 124 heading westbound. Us to the east are already landlocked and you continue to allow and build these monstrosities, which are only going to make traffic that much worse. Adding high density residential is one thing, but these are trucks, which have very slow startup and turning times.Mike Busch (Dacula, 2024-06-02)
#294
I'm signing because this development does not fit out area and will cause massive traffic and other zoning issuesJill Pritchett (Buford, 2024-06-02)
#297
I live in the impacted area and absolutely DO NOT support the re-zoning and subsequent building o commercial / industrial building adjacent to our residential areas. Gravel Springs is already over-loaded, due to the I85 on/off ramps implemented a year or so ago. Adding heavily loaded tractor-trailers increases the risk for those in passenger cars.Governments do not exist primarily to service the desires of commercial / corporate entities.
Enough is enough!!
Brad Scarlett (Buford, 2024-06-02)

I am one million times opposed to this reasoning of a prime residential community to commercial just to line the pockets of Buford City!!!!!!!!Richard Smith (Buford, 2024-06-02)

Too many warehouses have already been built. Who wants to live near a warehouse industrial park? Enough already! NO REZONING, keep it residential.Tim Robitaille (Buford, 2024-06-02)

I want to keep the integrity of our community and not give it over to corporations. Building these warehouses not only destroys the ecosystem in these areas but inconveniences the people who built their lives in these areasSarah Chisholm (Buford, 2024-06-02)
#314
I'm signing because I don't want to be worried about the big trucks running around our area trying to get to Hamilton Mill Rd or Gravel Springs Rd. potential children getting hit while playing, traffic, the noise during construction and after.Debra Calis (Buford, 2024-06-02)
#315
I live in the area and enough is enough!Dana Kamhout (Buford, 2024-06-02)
#317
I live very close in this area and the traffic is already backed up every day, all day, not just rush hour. The roads in this area DO NOT want or need more traffic. It will be bad enough when all the apartments, town homes and residents are filled with new residents and all their cars, not to mention semi tractor trailers tearing up our roads. STOP all this re-zoning and construction in this area.Judy Michael (Buford, 2024-06-02)
#318
They are greedy and ruining our area of town.Andrea Malone (Buford, 2024-06-02)
#319
This project does not belong in a residential neighborhood. There are too many warehouses being built and they sit empty.Richard DiAngelo (Buford, 2024-06-02)
#320
It’s ruining Buford!Karen Adams (Buford, 2024-06-02)
#327
Gwinnett County doesn’t allow Industrial zoning here in their Master Plan. Only a slime ball like Philip Beard and his cronies makes this happen by annexing into the city of Buford. The city had a 150 million dollar surplus last year. This isn’t for the City of Buford it’s to line their pockets with graft.Rosemary Prieur (Buford, 2024-06-02)
#329
I live on gravel springs and the amount of warehouses getting a noxious and is bringing down the appeal of having a residence here . If it becomes worse I will move and take my tax dollars to cumming or Alpharetta.Mehul Patel (Buford, 2024-06-02)
#332
I don’t believe more warehouses will benefit our community or home values. The traffic is already horrific and we don’t need the added traffic, disruption, distraction or wear and tear on our community roads.Cassie McCormack (Buford, 2024-06-03)
#334
The traffic is already getting worse. I don't want to see additional warehouses that would only increase traffic even more.Larry Klinect (Buford, 2024-06-03)

I sign this because I do not agree with this.Luisa Castano (Buford, 2024-06-03)

Our area's green spaces and community are being taken over by overcrowded neighborhoods and warehouses. This warehouse does not match the surrounding residential areas and devalues the quality of living and our properties.i do not agree with it!Jorge Castano (Buford, 2024-06-03)
#340
This zoning classification is vastly different from the residential properties this project would dwarf. Large trucks would be utilizing residential areas, destroying roads, and creating unsafe driving conditions. These zoning changes would place warehouses directly next to residential properties. Bringing down their value and subjecting them to tractor trailer traffic in RESIDENTIAL streets.Michael Knauss (Buford, 2024-06-03)

There are enough warehouses over here currently with the addition of all the warehouses on gravel Springs Road right now. The traffic light at Camp branch and Gravel Springs is impossible in the afternoons and traffic backs up and you may have to sit through at least 10 red lights to turn left. if the city of Buford would like to include all the residences to go to their school I am 100% for this project if it’s only to annex in warehouses I am opposed.Teresa Wilhite (Buford, 2024-06-03)

The number of warehouses has gotten out of hand. With this proposed project they are encroaching on neighborhoods. Who is protecting us and our home values? Our roads can not handle this additional trafficBecky Pace (Buford, 2024-06-03)
