Pople deserve to live with dignity, and by allowing people to squat in squalid conditions, you are reducing them to less than human standing. The individuals need help, they are not squatting at Wolwespruit because they enjoy the setting - it is because they have no other options. The area needs to be protected, the squatters need to be placed where infrastructure is available to them. Do the right thing and allocate these poor people RDP houses and financial assistance.Telani Van Der Walt (Pretoria, 2020-07-18)

Proper city planning of areas is imperative since slack in this regard cause loss of value that was built over many years by individuals such as hiyse owners. Also informal settlements contribute highly to increased crime statistics. Government cannot leave their lack of management to residents who has to foot the terrible bill of crime, loss of lives and loss of property values. Informal settlements must be planned and infrastructure for these people must be provided. Their health is also important. Now government is creating anomosity between private residents and informal settlements due to their failure to plan.Golda Meyer (Pretoria, 2020-07-18)

Allowing this wth no control is unacceptable and will surely damage and tarnish the area wth property prices dropping and investors being chased awayVrime and canle theft has gone up since
