Fight against NWU's mandatory vaccinations

Comments

#2402

Students should be able to enjoy freedom of choice and not be punished if they make a certain decision.

Ruan de Lange (Potchefstroom, 2022-02-16)

#2406

I believe that implementing the mandatory vaccine policy will discriminate against a students right to education and the right to choose what happens to his or her body.

The Covid vaccine does not stop you from getting or spreading the virus.

Liezl Lubbe (Hermanus, 2022-02-16)

#2409

I absolutely agree that we should fight for our constitutional and human rights

Chantelle Hollenbach (Centurion, 2022-02-16)

#2413

I Support her opinion.

Marochelle Botha (Polokwane, 2022-02-16)

#2416

Because I believe everyone has a right, meaning you have the right to get vaccinated, and I may not judge you, just as I have the right to deny vaccination, and you may not judge me. I do not wish to inject myself with a "vaccine" for which I will have to get boosters every time a new variant pops up.

Jalize Joubert (Potchefstroom, 2022-02-16)

#2417

I am a mother who's children must also go study.

Denise Van zyl (Pretoria, 2022-02-16)

#2418

veg vir jou reg.

Gerhardus de Wet (Potchefstroom, 2022-02-16)

#2420

Persoonlike keuse. Afgeforseer op mens laat mens dink daar is vuilspel betrokke. Die langtermyn effek is nog onbekend.

Hermien Bezuidenhout (Pretoria, 2022-02-16)

#2421

If you want to get the vaccination (that in anycase is reffered to as a jab or booster), you may get it. I do not want to put something in my body that may compromise my health (any unknown side effects or severe reactions). Nobody knows what it will do to my body. I live in my body, not you. I will choose what I want for my body, not you. Taking my choice is unethical. Turn this around, what if I force you to not take the vaccine (jab)?

Rianda Jordaan (Potchefstroom, 2022-02-16)

#2423

Even though I have been vaccinated it’s everyone’s right to decide what they want to put into their body. This is ridiculous and unethical

Laudi Lee (Bryanston, 2022-02-16)

#2426

I am pro-choice. My body my choice

Petrissia Swiegelaar (George, 2022-02-16)

#2434

I'm signing because NO FOR VACCINATION IN SCHOOLS AND WORKING PLACES AND UNIVERSITY
Cindy

Cindy Janse van Rensburg (Gauteng, 2022-02-16)

#2435

I believe in bodily autonomy and in education for all. I say no to discrimination of any form. Young people have an extremely low risk to get extremely sick from any virus. Protect our young men against myocarditis and our young women against menstrual irregularities.

Tania Snyman (Durbanville, 2022-02-16)

#2436

I'm a cultural person and an ancestral servant. The elders told me how bad the jab will affect my body, thus not making me fit enough to receive and do the work I'm supposed to do which is helping people in need. Therefore I cant vaccinate and I won't have necessary documents to prove this.

Resego Mokhutsane (Mafikeng, 2022-02-16)

#2440

This is unethical.

Harmse Gert (Johannesburg South, 2022-02-17)

#2441

I am signing not because I am a anti vaxxer or conspiracy theorists.. I am signing because I believe this country went through alot to bring equality and freedom to everyone and this is simply just another form of apartheid and discrimination and taking away our rights. There is absolutely no proof or grounds for such measures especially now where virus is turning into not much more than a flu.

Riaan Griesel (Mbombela, 2022-02-17)

#2442

We are being robbed of our freedom of choice!! This is just a conspiracy to control us!! It's our bodies our choice!!

Claudine Botes (Bloemfontein, 2022-02-17)

#2445

I feel this is discriminating against human rights and the right to informed consent.

Chrisna Goddefroy (Nelspruit, 2022-02-17)

#2446

Ek teken hierdie petisie, omdat elke mens die reg het om te besluit of jy of sy gejab moet word. Nie deur owerhede gedwing word nie . Respekteer asseblief ons keuse.

Esther White (Hartenbos, 2022-02-17)

#2447

It is against my religion and human rights not to choose what happen with my body. It should be a choice and not mandatory to be vaccinated.

Also, we nearing the end of this pandemic. States in USA already do not wear masks. Our president mentioned we close to end the State of Disaster, yet NWU implement a mandatory vaccine policy for a virus with 99% mortality rate?

We learned so much about Covid in the last 2 years. Myself had it. It is not a death sentence anymore.

To have a mandatory vaccine policy for a vaccine that is still a trail and you still can get the virus in any case, is just inhumane, strip me from my human rights and just plain evil.

Sunet Nel (Ballito, 2022-02-17)

#2449

It is illegal to force anyone to be injected against their will. What could be the only reason that would make rulers and judges etc all of a sudden look the other way ignoring the rule of law? Is it threats, is it money? All types of force onto or into a human beings body is evil.

Amy Stephanus (Cape Town, 2022-02-17)

#2451

To force an ineffective, potentially unhealthy, experimental drug onto people is unethical and inhumane and goes against our personal rights.

Christo van Rensburg (Pretoria, 2022-02-17)

#2452

Our family has a history of cardiovascular and autoimmune disorders and we are fearful that the Covid vaccination might trigger and/flare any of those - Guilliam-Barré (autoimmune disease) have already been listed worldwide as a possible side effect. We just cannot take this risk while the jab is still in an experimental phase and there is still to many uncertain viables. We fear for our health and ultimately our lives if we cannot exercise our freedom of choice. We already contracted Covid with various symptoms and thus have a natural immunity- over 50 scientific studies show it is more robust and last longer than vaccine-immunity and you cannot transmit the virus (nó data of anyone with natural immunity that transmitted the virus). Why can proof of a positive Covid test not be an optional passport to all services on campus?

Kobie Gruber (Sabie, 2022-02-17)

#2453

It is against your rights

Rynhard Thirion (Pretoria, 2022-02-17)

#2455

Medical treatments should b be a voluntary decision especially if the long term effects of the treatment is unknown.

Louisa Jv Rensburg (Pretoria, 2022-02-17)

#2457

I feel that any person have a right to their own voice and how they feel about the jab. Your body belongs to yourself and not to the public. What I add to my body is my choice. I understand that I need to be carefull, due to the virus, but it does not mean that other people can inject me with whatever is in that injection.

Petronella De Jager (Port Elizabeth, 2022-02-17)

#2459

Dit is my grondwetlike reg om nie in geënt te word ek wyer

Annelie Van der Merwe (Nelspruit, 2022-02-17)

#2460

It is still an exsperimental vaccine showing lots of side effects, and it is not preventing or stopping covid at all. Look at the statistics and see that it only break down the individual's immunity. And that is why you need booster after booster after booster. It is not a vaccine it is an experimental jab.

Wilna Basson (Randburg, 2022-02-17)

#2461

I am totally against this vaccine. And it is my right to do so

Anne-marie Cilliers (Potchefstroom, 2022-02-17)

#2464

I am pro choice

Engela Strydom (Kimberley, 2022-02-17)

#2469

There is lots of Namibian students that are also at NWU. It is unfair to do this. COVID is almost gone and the vax don't mean that you can't get it or spread it. I stand with the students that don't want to be vaxed.

Annabelle Erasmus (Swakopmund, 2022-02-17)

#2471

I'm signing this because I feel that making the vaccination mandatory is forcing and can be seen as discrimination againts the people of South Africa. We adhere by the laws and constituition of SA but why are the Universities punishing us like this? I will not be force to take a vaccination because as a citizen of SA, by law, I can say no. Education is important to all of us but why are boundaries set to keep us from being eduacted? I am a last year student and I can't stress out how worried I am if I will be able to finish my last year. All my sacrifices will be down the drain just because of a simple policy that can be undone for the sake of the children of South Africa. I hope our voices will be heard.

Karina Hattingh (Potchefstroom Campus, 2022-02-17)

#2475

Our childrens futures are being destroyed by mandetory vaccines. We were told that vaccines will never become mandetory........ this against theur human right to choose

Monique MAARTENS (Mokopane, 2022-02-17)

#2479

It is each citizens right to choose what he/she put into their bodies.

Salome Odendaal (Zwartkop, 2022-02-17)

#2480

Short summary: It’s against my human rights.

Larischa Botes (Krugersdorp, 2022-02-17)

#2482

Why put something in your body which you don’t need? Most, 99% of people in the world, have a strong enough immune system to fight the virus, where after you’ll have antibodies in anyway.
The other 1% mostly had prior comorbidities or were very unlucky.
There is NO need to put that injection in your body. It does not serve any purpose other than you risking severe side effects from the vaccine, which sometimes include death

Quentin Horn (Centurion, 2022-02-17)

#2484

It's against our human right

Jaco Verster (Roodepoort, 2022-02-17)

#2485

These jabs are killing people and if you mandate it you are murderers. There is no benefit in taking them. The unvaxed pose no threat to anybody. It is every person's personal choice.

Jenny Geldenhuys (Boksburg, 2022-02-17)

#2488

I believe in my right to choose what I put into my own body. Why are they forcing the jab? Hidden agenda?

Elmarie Bos (Rustenburg, 2022-02-17)

#2490

#2492

I am against being coerce by the university to get vaccinated.

Ruan Steenkamp (Potchefstroom, 2022-02-17)

#2500

Sannie Grobbelaar (Bloemfontein, 2022-02-17)

#2504

It is against your human rights to be forced to vaccinate.

Chrisna Fourie (Riversdale, 2022-02-17)

My liggaam, my keuse.

Leatitia Schwarte (Paarl, 2022-02-17)

#2512

It is a basic human right to have the freedom to choose what type of medical treatment you prefer.

Carin Jansen (George, 2022-02-17)

#2514

I do not agree with any mandatory vaccination laws/regulations.
My so, a student at NWU has got a constitutional right to choose what gets injected into his body.
He is a paid up, above average student at NWU and has every right to be included in any and all activities on and at any of the NWU campuses.
These forced vaccine regulations are discrimination against individuals. Much more so than any racial or transgender discrimination, which, if violated gets the individual in deep trouble.
Why is this discrimination allowed?

Norman Wait (Riversdale, 2022-02-17)

#2518

It is completely against peoples human right to choose to be part of a global experiment or not. J&J have stoped productions of vaccines… why ?? Perhaps they have realized that the vaccines are not as effective in preventing the spreading of covid as what everyone has been told? In just a few months from now, these restrictions will all be gone, thus why force and descriminate against our fellow humans and denying our children from equal education and treatment.

Fernando Frias (Pretoria, 2022-02-17)

#2521

I believe it is everyone's right to choose if they want to get vaccinated or not. And if you are vaccinated, you are the one that is protected, why are you worried about me who is not? The vaccine doesn't stop you from getting or spreading it, it only minimise your symptoms. So if I choose not to get the vaccine, I am aware of all the pro' and con's. Let me be my own person, making my own informed choices about my own body.

Amanda Nel (Welkom, 2022-02-17)

#2523

I am signing because I am against this new mandatory vaccine rule.
The students (all of us) have human rights.

Alicia Swart (Pretoria, 2022-02-17)

#2525

They are taking away our human rights!! I am pro choice!!!

Carly Boshoff (Welkom, 2022-02-17)

#2527

The jab is lethal! It has NO good in it. I have first-handedly seen the terrible side effects of this rubbish! Everyone has a right to decide over his/her own body. NWU will have to give account when the Neuremburg Code comes into place. And it WILL!! Good will ALWAYS triumph over evil. Just look at history!

Deirdré Meyburgh (Frankfort, 2022-02-17)

#2528

I am against the vaccination.

Abrie du Plessis (Zastron, 2022-02-17)

#2529

Freedom of choice.

Ockert Raal (Pretoria, 2022-02-17)

#2534

I'm signing because of the mandatory vaccination since I had to stop my studies at the NWU because they didn't want to compromise with their policy so they said I should cancel my studies. I didn't want to but that was all option they had given me and unfortunately I am a NSFAS student so I can't pay the cancellation fees. They also say I have no respect for my fellow seniors when I tried to negotiate but they didn't treat me that way. They also refused to talk to my parents about the problem.

Henre Moolman (Parys, 2022-02-17)

#2535

Vaccine Mandates are against our basic human rights protected by the Bill of Rights in our Constitution. South Africa is also a signatory of the Nuremberg code - those who mandate these vaccines should think very carefully if they want to be involved in War Crimes. As a Christian, Revelation 13 immediately comes to mind: Taking a mark (vaccine passport) in order to buy or sell (function in society) is just not going to go down well with the Lord Jesus Christ.

Jacques Labuschagne (Pretoria, 2022-02-17)

#2539

Even if you are vaccinated you can still make people sick so What is the difference!! People that vaccinate do it for themselves

Hanlie Nel (Cape Town, 2022-02-17)

#2540

We have a choice

Ingeid Meyer (Robertson, 2022-02-17)

#2541

I'm a concern parent. My son is at the NWU in Potch and we don't agree with the Mandory vaccine policy of the NWU.The university don't wanna talk to us.They only talk to the student. They try to intimadate the student by telling him that he must pay the cancellation fees but his a NESFAS student.Infact NWU recommended that he must end his studies with them. They are not willing to negotiate with him to switch to distanced lurning.

Francois Moolman (Parys, 2022-02-17)

#2549

This is freedom of choice. My body my right.

Madelein Marais Botes (Burgersfort, 2022-02-17)

#2552

My childrsn are students at the NWU. NO ONE had the right to ckmpell any one to be injected with an experimental drug. This looks very much like the holocaust of WW2 vintage.

Gideon Jordaan (Cradock, 2022-02-17)

#2553

It's unconstitutional and again basic human rights.

Derek Wormald (Port Elizabeth, 2022-02-17)

#2557

I am a pro choicer.

Delia Botha (Benoni, 2022-02-17)

#2560

I'm signing because this mandate is against our constitution, is discriminatory and is against the Nuremburg Code. The injection substance's ingredients are not publicly and openly available, no long terms safety data available with thousands of negative side effects that are suppressed, with the manufacturers of the injections shielded from any liability for any death or other negative side effects. The science from a wide range of public and private institutions worldwide (including censored / uncaptured specialists) show that these DNA altering substances are poisonous/toxic and not to be used on the public, irrespective of the fact that for most people there are not benefit compared to the risk.

Gert du Preez (Sasolburg, 2022-02-17)

#2562

My daughter wants to study at NWU in 2023. She is a Provincial Tennis player. Sang in various adult choirs since grade 10. Top 10 academically. The list goes on. As ex PUK graduates my wife and I will have to make other arrangements for her future as she will definitely not take the vaxination. It is furthermore unconstitutional and against her human rights.

Hano JC Botha (Polokwane, 2022-02-17)

#2563

Mandatory vaccination against Covid-19 is a crime against humanity. It's aim is to take away personal choices.

Mona Greyling (Margate, 2022-02-17)

Its unconstitutional and against freedom of choice.

van Dyk Johannes (Pretoria, 2022-02-17)

#2568

Gif.

#2589

My gesin is pro-choice!

Onaanvaarbaar!

Johann Taljaard (Mokopane, 2022-02-17)
