Help our children GO TO SCHOOL WITHOUT RISKING THEIR LIVES

Dear Sir or Madam,

For several years, despite of the numerous letters addressed by the Principal of the school to the competent authorities in Varna, the lives of dozens of students at the school "Vasil Droumev" - Varna have been daily exposed to a fatal risk as a result of the irresponsible conduct of drivers of vehicles in the area who park on the walkways, in front of the entrances and on the sidewalks adjacent to the school.

Every day the emergency exit of the school "Vasil Droumev"which is supposed to grant immediate access to ambulance, fire truck or other specilised vehicles, is blocked by illegally parked cars irrespectively of the prohibitive road parking sign in front of it and the "Warning exit" sign.

Let us NOW take the best preventative precautions to protect the lives of children before another tragic case happens in Bulgaria, after which measures will taken at the cost of a human life.

Please, kindly support the petition the vehicles in violation to be removed from the prohibited areas explicitly specified in Art. 98, para. 2 pt. 6 of the Law on Road Traffic to ensure the safety of students and all pedestrians in the area around the school "Vasil Droumev" - Varna.
