As Law Enforcement graduates we seek recognition from South African Police Service, National Prosecuting Authority, Directorate for Priority Crime Investigation (DPCI) commonly known as the Hawks, Special Investigation Unit, Independent Police Investigation Directorate, Department of Correctional Services, Department of Community Safety, Border Management Authorities (BMA), and the Public Protector's Office, among others.

  • Each and every year, SAPS recruits 10,000 matriculates, while there are qualified law enforcement graduates suitable for the positions.
  • SAPS issues out only 10 internships after 2 years and does not absorb them.
  • Due to the high rate of crime in South Africa, most cases are not being attended to professionally, leading criminals to get away with the crimes they commit due to a lack of knowledge on how to investigate crimes professionally. This is due to the educational levels of police officers, which is only matric.
  • By prioritizing graduates instead of matriculates, the government will save money and time by training matriculates who have to start from scratch, rather than law enforcement graduates who have already obtained knowledge about the law and how to investigate crime professionally.
  • The process of recruitment that SAPS is using, psychometric tests being written with a pencil that could be easily erased.
  • Age restriction should increase from 35 to 40 years.

Law enforcement qualifications :
